JoeF
For immigration, nothing is ever expunged. Having the court disposition with you is a good idea. Link to comment
t75
Expungement does not matter for immigration. You have to acknowledge arrest. Always travel to US with copy of your court documents. Link to comment
2013lucky
Don't worry, Only speak truth in DS-160 form. Don't misrepresent. Speak the truth when Visa Officer asks about the incident. But speak only to the point. Dont give too much information. Link to comment
planetgourmet
Don't worry, Only speak truth in DS-160 form. Don't misrepresent. Speak the truth when Visa Officer asks about the incident. But speak only to the point. Dont give too much information. this is great advice. the best lawyer will say only speak to the point; don't give too much info. and keep his ( her ) business card with you. if the office needs to go into more detail your lawyer will speak on your behalf. i have learned this while helping a friend thru a sad situation. the lawyer kept saying ' you are innocent until proven guilty '. the lawyer will speak on your behalf.
