Dismissed simple assault case - H1B stamping

Hi, Back in April I was (wrongfully) charged for simple assault as domestic violence by my then boyfriend.

The case got dismissed by the court after a month of maintaining no contact with the ex.

I am going for my h1b renewal stamping in Delhi this month.

Should I be worried? Does the case show up still - even if I did not have to plead guilty, serve any sentence at all? Do I have to say yes to arrested or charged?

I am a bit worried about it though.

If you were arrested, you would have to reveal this information on the DS-160. Generally speaking, however, if you were arrested but no charges were filed against you, this would not impact your ability to be issued a visa or any other immigration benefit.

OP needs to understand what in her behavior was viewed to be inappropriate. US standards of conduct are different than some other countries. The best way to do this is review the event with a mental health specialist or an attorney.  I believe a mental health professional is better (and generally less expensive) suited for an in depth review of the situation.
