Can we travel to india during H1B visa processing?

Next year i would like to apply for H1B visa  but I am currently on H4 Can i travel to india after I apply for H1B? Also if i go to india i need to go for H4 Visa stamping. Please advise. Thanks.

It is generally advised not to travel before getting H1B approval. If you travel and your H1B petition gets approved your change of status from H4 to H1B will be considered abandoned.
