Urgent Help Required - VO said Visa is Issued, CEAC shows admin processing

Hello everyone,

 

I have a friend of mine who had an interview for Visitor Visa on 12 Dec. During the interview VO clearly said that your Visa is approved. Since then CEAC website shows as Administrative Processing.

 

Is this a pretty common case in B1/B2 visa types. If so or not, how long it might take to get it approved.

 

 

Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated.

Relax, it takes time to update the status.

Thanks for your reply but the status was changed to "Issued" for some time today and now its back to Administrative Processing again.
