Change of employer during H1 visa extension

My H1 visa extension is currently in progress with employer A. Can i change my employer to B or do i need to wait till the extension is approved? If yes, what would employer B need to do?

My H1 visa extension is currently in progress with employer A. Can i change my employer to B or do i need to wait till the extension is approved? If yes, what would employer B need to do?

Employer B could file a cap exempt H1B petition called a bridge petition. Or they could wait for employer A's extension petition to get approved.
