MrNRI
Hi I am on L1-B with employer A. Employer A filed my GC and currently I-140 is approved. My L1-B max out date is April 2015. I want to get H1 B done by employer B on April 2014 and switch company in October. Question: How long I will get my new H1 B? Are there any extension to H1 B allowed after April 2015? Is I-140 by employer A is valid with GC process by employer B? Link to comment

Based on approved I-140 you can get H1B extended beyond the given 2 years on H1B approved in April 2014. 3. Yes, as long as employer A has not revoked I-140. Link to comment
