Can i take CPT in my last semester with only one course load is left

Hi all,

 

My friend has only one course(3 credits) left to finish her masters program.She is on F1 for the last 2 semesters and took full course load...  this is her third semester(she finished her remaining credits on h4).Is she allowed to take CPT(3 credits) for the last semester where there is only one course load left(she can start working)?? or is it a must for her to take a course?

Your friend needs to talk to her DSO.  COS to H4 is a problem for pre-completion OPT.

She can not use CPT. CPT is ONLY for work as integral part of the curriculum. That is obviously not the case here.
