Evidence to show that the employer agrees to report the termination or departure of the OPT employee to the DSO at the student’s school. Such reporting must be made within 48 hours of the event. 

 

Should it be a letter from the employer saying this or something? Thanks for your advice

Ask your DSO about it and he/she will guide you accordingly.

Get a letter from your employer stating that they will report your termination/end of employment to the school's DSO within 48 hours of termination.
