I have filled I-130 for her in Sept 2013I have following 2 questions for my 2013 tax return:Question 1 Do I need to specify my wife as my dependent on my tax return? catx Posted March 4, 2014 Report Share Posted March 4, 2014 There are many complexities to tax laws with respect to foreign nationals and applicable tax treaties. Some of the questions would be in regards to whether your wife is working or not and filing taxes outside the U.S. or not. As posted you need to consult with a qualified, experienced tax accountant (not just specialist) to ensure you are filing your taxes correctly. Link to comment
