Is there any reason stating if we apply for visitor visa extension, they have high chance of getting lesser duration for stay in I94 when the come back for next visit after 6 months. Link to comment

Mostly the extension will be rejected if there is no valid reason. If they travel back to home country after extension rejection their visa gets canceled. If they travel back during the process of extension and when they visit next time they might be subjected to intense scrutiny at POE and possibly get I94 valid for less time. Link to comment
