DreamTrue
Hi I am working for a US company as a contractor through a vendor company. I will move to h4 soon and then I should not work. But I heard that I can go to India and from there I can continue working for my US company. But is there any issue if I get pay stubs in US ? I get work visa in 6 months and don't want to loose my current job. Is there any option for that ? Thanks, Link to comment
JoeF
If you are outside the US, you are not in any status. Work ability abroad is determined by your status there. You can always work while in your home country. You likely have to pay taxes in your home country if you work, even if you work remotely. Both you and your employer should discuss this with a good CPA knowledgeable about cross-border work issues. Link to comment
