H1B Visa & Incentives

Hello,

 

I am physician on H1 B visa. I wanted to ask if I receive direct incentive of about 20K from Govt medicaid insurnace for using electronic medical records would it ok in terms of tax filling, would it create any problem in future for my green card processing if I receive pay from 3 rd party other than my employer.

 

Please advice.
