I 140 - EB2 - Extended Review - Delay in Processing

Hi

Your help, suggestions and experiences are appreciated in this case.

My 140 was filed on Feb 11, 2013 in Texas Service Center. My case is in EB2.

We have created service request to know the status of the case since the processing time is over 9 Months. Service request was created on October 21, 2013 by my attorney. Today I have received service request answer from attorney with below explanations.

"We have received the services request and researched the status of your case. Our system indicates that your case is currently under extended review and this has caused a delay in processing time. We don't require any actions from you at this time"

Kindly let me know if you have any idea about this explanation. How long USCIS will take to provide decision on my case ?

Please share your similar experiences if you have any.

Please let me know if I can change my case to Premium processing to speed up the processing time of extended review

what happened after the extended review status and how much time it took to approve/reject the 140.

I am on same boat, after two and half years, my got a notification from USCIS Texas Service Center, the case is under extended review.

 

Any body have any idea, what is going on?

 

How long it will take resolve this issue etc?
