djravana
Hi, I'm a citizen of Seychelles currently working in USA. I'm recently blessed with a baby girl. Both countries (USA & Seychelles) allow dual citizenship and hence my daughter will have two passports. I need to apply OCI for my daughter. Do I need to apply for two OCI cards (one for each passport) or one is enough? OCI contains the passport number and a OCI sticker will be affixed in the passport. For ex, if I get the OCI sticker affixed to Seychelles passport, while leaving USA I need to show USA passport (every country demands that we should enter/leave using that country's passport) and it won't have the OCI sticker. Hence I may be questioned for valid visa to enter India at USA immigration. Can you please advice the right way to proceed? Is it a crime applying two OCI cards for the same person who holds two different passports? Thanks, Saravanan. Link to comment
JoeF
You get visas in one passport. US immigration doesn't care about visas for other countries. The airlines care, and you may have to show both passports to the airline. That's not a problem. Link to comment
