I wish to know the recent J1 advisory opinion timeline. Secondly the timeline for J1 wavier application after the government shutdown.

I also have a same question. I have mailed all my docs to the address provided in the packet. It's been more than 3 weeks now. Still, the online case status says "Could not find the case number"

It would be the same time mentioned in DOS website. If it goes beyond that you could call them.

It has been more than 2 weeks for my J1 advisory opinion, called them, they are not able to locate the case, asked me to call back after 1-2 week time frame.

They are correct. The normal timeline is 4 to 6 weeks.
