Filing 485..need advice..please respond..urgent.

Hi

I am filing 485 as my priority date is current now. I am EB2 India and my date is current as per bulletin.

My question is can i have my 485 address different than the current address where i am staying now.

Reason being i might change my current address in next 15 days from now and move to new place due to job change, and i dont want to miss any letters. But, i have a permanent address (my brothers place) where i can get all my mails, which i am thinking of having it on my 485.

Also, my G325 states the first address as current address, should i change that as well mentioning current address as my brothers place or is it ok. because, i might move to my brothers place in next 15 days.I don't know what to do please advice.

you can choose to put your brother's mailing address; that should not be a problem as long you file AR11 on time and keep the address consistent across all immigration filings

I would wait until the situation clears up. Just watch the dates in the bulletin.

Just to be clear - address is not just for mailing. As you may have noticed on the forms, it is used for conducting background checks. Now you want to submit someone else's address? Maybe you should ask that person, too.

P.S. The obvious solution is to use a lawyer.

Thanks and appreciate for reply. Yes, i have an attorney who is filing it for me.

Also, for my current address i believe i did not file AR11. Now when i am moving to my new address (My brothers place)..can i go ahead right now and file AR11 for new address and then file 485. In AR11, it asks previous address which is my current address for which i havnt filed AR11. will it cause any issues. I was here just for 3 months, since i do consulting job and move places.

Please reply as this is urgent and i need to file it in couple of days.
