mercedesbenz
Hi Everybody: I am sorry if these questions sound basic and perhaps have been repeated many a time. 1. My Permanent Resident card says "Resident since" Date 5/27/2009. Apart from the about 8 weeks of vacation in total in the past 5 years outside the country (3 weeks 1st yr of PR, then 2 weeks in Jan 2011 and 3 weeks in July 2011) I have not travelled outside of the US. (I did go to toronto few times returning the same day for day trips). So reading through the USCIS website it suggests that I may be eligible to apply for naturalization Feb 27, 2014. Is that correct or do I have to wait 8 extra weeks before I become eligible because I had 8 weeks of vacation outside the country? It does not seem to talk about short vacation time? 2. Secondly, after I got the PR card, I moved twice and have never filled out or done address changes. Is this necessary and will I face problems due to this now? My PR was based on EB2 - NIW by the way. Hope I have not missed out providing enough info to answer the questions. Thanks in advance Link to comment
