renewal EAD with incorrect first name

Hi - Today we received a renewal EAD for my wife with her first name being incorrect. We noticed that the receipt notice also is wrong and has the same issue as the EAD card.

 

On checking the paper work , the issue is not there. So this is a mistake on USCIS part.

 

I understand that we need to contact USCIS who can either send a correction EAD card and/or request the incorrect card sent back and send a new card.

 

Assuming that they will send a new card, can she work based on the card with the incorrect name ?
