Travel on OPT extension ending in 4 months?

I want to visit india on Feb 2014 and my OPT extension is going to end by the end of the June 2014. I am an aspirant of 2014 H1b. I am a contractor. And I can get a client letter if I request my client. But I am still tensed can I travel or not? I have to visit India as It's an important event in my life. Did anyone travel in the same situation? What docs I have to carry? How much is my successful return % to USA in this situation? My POE would be IAD. I have my visa until Dec 2014. Please help me.

I travelled in the same situation this year.  OPT End Date: June 2013, came back from india: March 2013, POE: IAH.  (I studied in TX and employer same loc)

 

I had no issues while comming back. they asked only my Extension I-20 and they didn't even stamped on that.  I think you are good to go.  Check with your employer once.
