H1-B employer change, H4 is pending

Hi I am currently on H1-B visa through Company A.

I am planning to move from company A to company B.

Currently my wife's change of status is applied for H4 visa along with I-539.  Earlier she was on F-1 visa.

I received I-539 receipt number which states Class = H4. So I am assuming the receipt number is for H4 as well. Correct me if I am wrong.

If I change my employer now, will it have any impact on the H4(Or I-539) process.
