Mother B2 Visa

Hi,

 

I am applying for my Mothers B2 visa and below are few questions-

 

My stay in US is going to be only 7 months by Nov 20

Q1. If I sponser for my Mother's Visa, will the duration of my stay in US(only 7 months) be a constraint and cause any rejection of visa?

(I have enough bank balance of $8k)

I have no W2 forms/no IT returns till date, as I have come to US in April and this is my first year in US.

Q2. No W2/IT returns will lead to rejection?

 

Any help on this point is highly appreciated.

There is no sponsorship involved in B2 visa.

Your mom does not need your documents for US B2 visa. She needs her own documents to show that she can support her trip to US and has to convince VO that she has strong ties with home country and that she is not a potential immigrant.

There may be a question as why she needs to visit so soon after you left home.
