Canada Visa Stamping and H1B Appointment

Hi All,

 

I need help and your views.

 

1) Is it better to in person to Canada consulate in NY for Canada Visitor Stamping or Mail the documents or apply through online? What is the processing time for each of it?

2) I filled the D-160 form and booked a appointment at Calgary consulate but I moved to Toronto consulate, so do i need to fill D-160 again ?

 

Your views and suggestion will be really appreciate

1) Apply online - its easy and you will get the reply in 3 weeks. Then you can send your passport through USPS or any other courier. Well, you can go in person also to NY. but it kills your time. so better apply online.

2) You can fill any number of DS-160's and update the application id in the CEAC site.

I don't know about mail process. But I visited in person in ny . It took 1week even though the officer told 2-4weeks.

DS-160 you don't have it change it. It will be online for VO s to validate.
