I had manual passport valid till January 2015 which I am planning to upgrade to machine readable passport. Since I am changing my passport it will not have the visa stamped in it. Q1: how long it takes to get my current H1B stamped on my new passport if I don't get 221g? Last time I did not get any 221g, I got it back in 3 days. Q2: Can I renew it from USA from DoS? Q3: What questions VO asks usually? can you share any link where I can read about it? Q4: What is the possibility of getting a 221g for restamping if the first time I got it without 221g?
