Sweetdevil Posted October 12, 2013 Report Posted October 12, 2013 Hi I had an interview on 9th .. Gave me white slip. Next day asked for documents Pay stubs, w2 , client letter . Since I am contracting for govt . GOvt doesn't give client letter. But vendor gave their client letter. I gave them my govt id and supervisor name and email and phone number. Fpu replied since govt is shutdown they will try other ways and means to contact them. My client manager has not got any call . Nor my vendor client. They are closed on Monday . What else can I do ?
kumar_y Posted October 15, 2013 Report Posted October 15, 2013 Sorry to hear about your situation. You cannot do anything apart from waiting for the consulate to contact your client point of contact
ravipro Posted October 15, 2013 Report Posted October 15, 2013 since it is only a few days since your 221g, there is not much you can do at this point unfortunately. just make sure that your client manager who will be contacted is updated of the status. i wish you all the best and a speed issue resolution.

Hello, Did you get any update from consulate and how long did they took for processing your case? Mine is similar, attended interview on 11/06/2013 and got 221g, VO kept the passport. Asked for LCA, W2, Paystubs and Client letter. Submitted them all the same day. No update yet. Just wondering usually how long do they take to process these kind of cases. Appreciate your help in advance. Thanks, Areddy.
