Updating the submitted DS160 Form

Hi ,

 

I have scheduled an appointment for Nov 4 and submitted my ds 160 to vancouver consulate.

 

But now I need to add some additional information regarding my previuos employer.

 

I know that I can't edit the submitted application.

 

can I fill out new ds160 and update that confirmation number in the ds 160 conformation number tab in my  Visa profile at us visa-info.com?

yes, fill out the new one and update it on the appointment...and take the new ds 160 confirmation...

Yes.You can fill another DS-160 and update in us-visa.info website anytime before to your interview.And you don't need to fill whole DS-160 again. You can retrieve submitted application with the DS-160 number you have and create new application from that. In this your data which you filled will retrieved with new Ds-160 number.

Yes, of course you can. Retrieve using the number you already have and in the pop-up box select the option to edit it instead of just having a look at the confirmation page. You will get pre-filled details and a new ds160 number. don't forget to update the new ds160number in the appointment pages.

Hi,

I did the same way when i realized that i made a mistake in my already submitted ds160. I did call to visa info center in usa before doing so and they said the procedure what i was doing was indeed the right procedure for DS160.
