Can i Stay in US beyond 6 years with approved I 140 and Just filed for H1B 7th year extension

Hi

 

       My 6 year continous stay completing on March 30 2014 including recapture. I applied Labor on August 14 2013. If my Labor approved on 1st week of March and I140 approved on 3rd week of march 2014, and just filed my H1B 7th year extension on 4th week of March, can i legally stay after March 30 2014 in US with just the H1B extension receipt?

 

Or Can i stay in US with the approved I 140 between the time period of my H1B extension approval and approved I140.

 

Please advise.

yes. you can stay until you get a decision on the H1 extension...which in normal case should get approved if your attorney and company submits all the docs.
