Interview waiver

Hello folks,

 

I would like to know if my spouse is elgible for interview waiver. She has Visa from employer A which expired in August 2013 and her I-94 is extended till Mar 2016 by I-539 approval. I started working for employer B since last month and I read on the ustraveldocs.com about the interview waiver elgibility but I am not sure about H4 situation. Since I changed jobs and have a new employer, does she need to attend the visa interview when she visits India or use the drop box?

Generally, the spouse is eligible for H4 visa through 'Interview Waiver Program' only if the principal applicant on H1B status is working for the same petitioner and the prior H4 visa with the same petitioner is still valid or expired within the last 12 months.
