permaudit
Hello, I am currently working for Company A with client as Company B. I have approved I140 and H1 with Company A. Now Company B wants to hire me and are ready to do GC. Can I as Company B to start my GC (Since it is future employement) and still be working for them as a consultant (through Company A) till PERM and I140 is approved and then transfer H1 later on? I dont want to take any chances of transferring H1 and go over the entire GC process, which would talk at least 8 to 10 months now to get to I-140 stage (even though I can retain PD). Thanks! omshiv
Well...technically you can...but it will depend on the Client/Employer...also you cannot force or push them to file for your GC immediately. Its their choice. Link to comment
