nkaparthi Posted October 8, 2013 Report Posted October 8, 2013 Hello All, I was working for company 'A' since July 2012 on OPT. My company is not e-verified company. So, I had to move to a contracting basis for the same company through a consultant 'B' on my OPT Extension. Company 'A' has applied my H1B and it got approved. They started re-hiring process and decided the starting date as October 9th, 2013. But, I continued to work from October 1st to October 8th. How will my payroll work in this case? Is that okay to have my payroll run with the consultancy 'B' from October 1st to 8th? Can someone please help me with this question? Thank you!!!
