Mumu
Hi Experts, Need your help in below situation. Starting Oct first I ‘m on to H1B (from F1 OPT to H1B), before I was on OPT working for a client ( during my Opt cap gap period I have joined client B, & my entire OPT period I had worked for single client A), My H1 & my wife H4 got approved in April & started from Oct. My questions: 1. Can my wife go for H4 stamping in India, given that only she will be travelling, I’m being in US & my status has changed from F1-H1. 2. I don’t have valid stamping now (F1 stamping has expired), so will this effect H4 stamping? 3. In order my wife to appear for H4 stamping, my H1 amendment needs to filed (as I am working with new client at new location)? Or it’s ok if it’s not filed as only H4 will be going for stamping. Please suggest. Thanks in advance. Link to comment

jairichi
Thanks Jairichi. regarding item#3, but it's not mandatory right? It is better to have as it gives your wife peace of mind when she goes for interview. Link to comment
