GC For Work Experience

I have completed Btech in India in 2008

I have 5 years of experience in IT in which 4 years in India and 1 year in USA

 

EB2 = 4yrs of education + 5 yrs of work experiecne

 

Question:

 

Am I eligible for EB2 GC as I have 4 years of experience in India and not in USA

Everything depends whether the job description and requirements fall in EB2 category.

GC is not mainly based on experience

It also depends on the kind of experience and for what position your employer is seeking tht petition

The job requirements determine the category. You could have a PhD and 20 years of experience, if the job only requires a bachelor degree, the case would still be in EB3.
