Hello,

All I am planning to fly to canada with a oneway ticket for attending visa interview. I am not planning on booking a return ticket since I am not sure how many days it might take to get the passport back after interview, hence planning on driving back to US.

Will there be any problem due to this at the port of entry in Canada? or Can I say the samething over there.

Thanks,

Areddy.

Here is a strange one happened with me.

I was trying to get a one way from American Airlines(as it had a cheap fare) and the Customer Care rep said that they will not allow to board the flight in USA if you do not have a valid return ticket.

I asked if it was the same case with all the air carriers.? Said, he doesn't know about the other airlines but that was American Airlines rules to fly to Canada from USA.

So check with the airlines before you take a decision.

had been there this August without a return ticket. There shouldn't be any problem.

Thank You, were you asked any questions at Port Of Entry. Also if possible can you please let me know what airlines you flew with, as some members posted that they faced issue with particular airlines. If that is the case, I might try to avoid that airlines.

It's Air Canada from FLL to YUL. Only one question was asked- Why were you visiting canada?

I understand this concern, I had it too. I thought of purchasing a refundable greyhound ticket then and there if asked.
