Rick8282
Hi, I am in my 5th year of H1B and next extension is due next year 2014 (I only got 2 years extension in my second term). I already have I140 approved with employer A. Would it be advisable if I can change my employer from employer A to employer B ? or should I first get the extension next year, I am assuming it probably be for 3 years extension since I already have 1 140 approved and then change the employer ? Please advise. Thanks Link to comment
omshiv
you can do either...and still get extension based on approved I-140. Link to comment
Rick8282
Thanks for replying omshiv, The new employer is saying they will start my GC next year ( september 2014 ) if I transfer H1B now. At that time my extension is due (5 years completed). Based on what I read on the forum, I think that would be risky correct ? Link to comment
