Visa Stamping @Vancouver

Hello,

 

I am planning to go for stamping in Feb 2014 at Vancouver because of two reasons..

  1. I got entry Visa for Canada which will expire in March 2014 under my PR process.

   2. My H1B stamping is expired .

 

Here is my situation and questions.

 

I got my first stamping (H1B) in 2005 at Chennai from Company A. which i left in 2007. I got H1B transferred from Company A(India) to B(USA) in 2008 while i was in India.

I entered USA in Aug 2008 and stamping was expired in Sep 08. 

 

I got my 2nd extension (till 2016) approved couple of days ago.  now I am planning to go to Canada to complete my PR application with my Family and getting visa stamped for all of us.

 

 

1. Do i need any documents from previous Company A for 2nd visa stamping?

 

2. Do i need to wait for PIMS updated since extension is approved lately ?

 

3. Have my MBA (IT) from India .. is it a negative point ?

If you have experience letter/ pay stuff,W-2 proving proving you work for company A

2. Do i need to wait for PIMS updated since extension is approved lately ?

If even PIMS is not updates it just 2-3 business days to get approved, when you stamping is approved

 

3. Have my MBA (IT) from India .. is it a negative point ?

You can explain your situation why you joined IT. It shouldn't be problem ..

PIMS is not related to you. Nothing you have to do with it.

I read few blogs where folks experienced delay/denial if you don't have masters from USA .. not sure, if those are true stories ..
