Husband H1B and wife EAD

Hi,

 

My husband is on L1 and he will shift to H1 very soon, but I am also having EAD as I am on L2visa (L1 depedent). So I have 2 queries.

 

can I work on my EAD after he will move to H1 because my status will be changed to H4 automatically

his H1 status will get any impact because I will be working on EAD

Once he get on H1, you will be on H4....so you cannot wotk on H4.

(1) No, you can not work with EAD as H4's are not allowed to work.

(2) Yes, as you are working illegally on H4.

Yes, your husband has to stay on L1.
