Hi All,

 

Education:

3 years Bachelor Degree(Chemistry - India)

2 years MBA (Marketing – India)
2 years Masters(Technology Management - USA )

Work Experience:

4 years of IT experience in the United States

Job Description:

Bachelors + 5 years required.

 

Will I qualify for EB2 category with above criteria?

Does you bachelor's degree is from 'EB2 job' related field??

Hi Rahul,

 

Job requirement is asking for the marketing/finance/IT . I did my bachelor's degree in the field of Chemistry (not in marketing/finance/IT) But my MBA(India) and MS(US) is from markeing/finance/IT.

Job req says Bachelors+5 yrs. But your bachelor's is not from that field, and they won't consider your MBA or MS since it is not in the requirement. So I guess you won't be eligible for that job since your degree is not related to that job requirement.

With the information you gace above, You may not quality bcos of 3+2 instead of 4+1.

 

Your Job Description meant 4 years of Bachelors +5 years.

 

Doesn't it (Job description) say anything abotu a Masters degree ? (Like "Masters Degree required + 2 years" or "MBA preferred with 2 years" etc..)

Well it's mention like:

 

BS or higher degree in relevent technical fields ( e.g. Computer Science, Technology, Statistics etc) + 5 years
