Canadian visitor visa NYC - In person or online?

Hi,

Going by some of the posts on Canadian visitor visas, if applied online, you are most likely to get an email in about 30 days, to drop the passport for stamping.

 

If I choose to apply in person at the Canadian consulate in NYC, is it going to be any faster?

 

Please share your experiences. I want to get the visitor visa asap. Which option is better and how long does it take for both the options.

Hi hardrockstart - What did you do here ? Did you apply in person in canadian counsalate at NYC and did that help getting your visitor visa any faster ? If yes how fast did you get the visa when applying in person ? Even I need Canadian visitor visa asap and cant wait for 30 days
