Hi,

 

I currently live in the USA on L2 visa and applied for H1B this year.  My H1B petition got approved but the I-129 was denied because I had travelled to Canada while the change of status was under process. I had to travel to Canada because my I-94 was expiring on August 2013. Now I have a vaild I-94 until January 2014.

 

I am currently not in a position to go to India for H1B stamping. Is there a way I could get the I-129 approved without travelling out of the country? Will an amendment work ? Please advise. Thank you !!!
