R28 Posted November 14, 2013 Report Posted November 14, 2013 Hi, I am also in the same situation - was working on CPT since Jan 2013. now my H1B has approved on oct 23rd but COS denied. My school DSO informed me my SEVIS is also terminated on Oct 26th. I planning to leave for stamping ASAP but document collection and everything is taking time. My question is - is it okay if I leave withing 45 days or is it too late? Any advice/ suggestion is highly appreciated! Thank You!

I believe you are accumulating unlawful presence in US from Oct 26th as your SEVIS is terminated. You should have left long back.
