Approved Extended I-797 start date is not same as end date of old I-797

My orignal petition(I-797) was expired on 25 SEP 2012. However the renewed extented I-797 which was received from USCIS is Valid from 1-NOV-2012. Now i am just wondering whether the Gap in dates are ok or not as during that timefram my visa extension was in progress.

When did your original I94 expire? Is there a possibility that it expired by 31st October 2012?

My I-94 was expired 10 days before on 11-SEP & the new one whihc i received was from same date of new I-797, that is 1-NOV.
