I am hearing that we need to have transit visa if we are traveling through London. Though my status change from F1 to H1B from Oct 1st, the F1 visa stamped on my passport will be valid till 2015. Do we still need to get the transit visa? Has anyone been under same situation before? Though there are similar posts in this forum, none of them give solid answer. Thanks!

I will be travelling on 27th Nov and my F1 visa expires on 3rd Dec, Do you think i can get away without getting transit visa?

Your situation is totally different.
