Common Muslim name-- Successful stamping

Hi,

 

I had my interview on Aug 28th @Vancouver. Not a single document asked and interview was just less then a min and my visa got approved.

 

In the past for my F1 visa I got 221g, and was expecting the same this time as well, because of my name, and surprisingly  it was smooth this time. So this mean it's not necessary you get 221g, If you have got that in the past.

 

 

FYI-- I'm  a FTE in a big company

 

With all said, I thing it's all luck and you're confidence.

I also have common muslim name and going for my first F1 to H1 stamping, huge possibility of 221g. Did you do anything special ? when did you submit your application, I mean how many days before the actual interview.  Any suggestions for us. Thanks
