Hi, I am thinking about apply for greencard under the EB2 NIW category, my qualification is as follows

1. PhD in Electrical Engineering. Published 1 journal, 3 conferences paper. 17 citations

2. Lead engineering role in an state-level non-profit company for 3 years

3. Active member of a professional organization, constantly review journal and conference publications

 

I wonder if the combination of the research and industry experience above is OK to proceed with EB2 NIW application?

EB2-NIW is exactly what it says..National interest waiver..unless your work serves "national' interest it's not gonna fly..

 

noestly, you have more chances of claiming Eb1 than Eb2-NIW..and the benefits wise too..
