visit to India for H4 visa holder

Hello,

i am on H4 visa here. i have not been to India since 7 years. i want to go to India without my husband. i heard that i cna not go alone as i am on H4 visa without get stamping on H1 B visa holder. is it true?

should i go to canada for stamping?

because in India its very strict to get stamping. sometimes people dont get vis astamping & then they can not come back in USA.

Please advice.
