DS-160 Family Information: Relatives

Hi,

I work in US and visiting India to get my H1B visa stamp.

In this regard, there is a question in DS-160 form

1. "Is your mother in US?"

Currently my mother is in US on visitor visa and she will be traveling back to India with me. I will be submitting my DS-160 before I travel to India with her. In this case should the answer be "YES" as my mother will still be in US when I submit the DS-160 form. Please let me know

Also if "YES" is selected then it shows a drop down list with below options

1. US Citizen
2. US Legal Permanent Resident
3. NONIMMIGRANT
4. Others/I do not know

Should "NONIMMIGRANT" be selected as she is on visitor visa?

Please advice.
