mkv17011
Dear all, I have an approved H1B petition (not stamped) from a cosultancy, which is going to be valid from Oct 1st, 2013. My current employer wants to do L1A for me send it immediatly (So only L1A Visa stamping will be there in my passport). So my questions are 1) After reaching US on L1A and if I want to move to H1B, is it enough to do change of status by my consultancy ? OR 2) Do I have to go and get H1B stamped to start working in H1B ? Kindly advise...Thank you Link to comment
jairichi
(1) Yes, a COS can be filed by your consultancy. But, I believe you know that the consultancy has to pay all H1B fees to file COS. (2) Not required. Link to comment
