H1B approved on Aug 26th, Vancouver

My Visa interview was pretty simple. I think good documentation and confident answers to the question good enough. Below is my experience. They allow you to go in only 15 min prior to your time. Mine was 10:00 am . I got in at 9:45 am. After going through the security check, fingerprints, i was allowed to go to 20th floor. 

 

VO: Good Morning. How are you?

Me: Hi Good Morning. I am good.

 

VO: From where are you coming from?

Me: Denver, CO

 

VO, Where do you work?

Me: I work for XXXX ( client name)

 

VO: How long have you been working with this client?

Me: 6 months

 

VO: How long have you been with your current employer?

Me: 9 months

 

VO: How did you come to US?

Me: I come on F1 visa

 

VO: Which university?

Me: XXXX

 

VO: Which Major?

Me: XXXX

 

VO: When did you graduate?

Me: May 2010

 

VO: What did you do after that?

Me: I have been working since then.

 

VO: IS this the same employer since the start ?

Me: No I changed few employers?

 

VO: With which employer do you work now?

Me: XXX

 

VO: What does your employer do?

Me: It deals with computer services. In other words, information technology.

 

VO: With whom did you work before ?

Me: XXX

 

VO: Where did you work prior to this employer?

Me: XXX

 

VO: What are your roles in the current client?

Me: told..

 

VO: Give me your Pay-stubs, Client letter, Employer letter, LCA and drivers licence.

Me: gave him all.except the license as i have my previous state license.

 

VO: Your drivers license?

Me: I don't have my CO license.

 

VO: You have been in there for 6 months. Why don't you have?

Me: yes, but when I went to take my license, I forgot to take my passport. From then on.. you know I didn't get a chance to take it as I was not able to go because of my work schedule.( Of course this is what happened)

 

VO: Its been a long time. You should take it.

Me: Yes I know I should ( and gave a smile)

 

VO: Your Visa is approved. You can check when and where to collect your passport in this.( handed me a piece of paper) Have a nice day.

Me: Thank you :) have a nice day.

 

All the best for everyone who is planning to attend the interview. Wow..! He asked me many questions. I realized it only after typing all the questions :D
