srikant90 Posted August 26, 2013 Report Posted August 26, 2013 Hi All, I transferred H1B from company A to B on mid July. In June month, I was on bench, so company A did not run my payroll for June month and i don't have the salary slip. I am planning to go for H1B visa stamping to canada on November. How complicated my case in terms of salary slip?? Thanks Srikant

Better complain about your new employer with DOL.
amigos9 Posted August 26, 2013 Report Posted August 26, 2013 Company A should run the payroll even you are on the bench. But you have to pay taxes. this will be the understanding between you and your employer. Anyways you changed your employer. so make sure you have to run your payroll promptly. there will be chances of 95% that they dont ask about your earlier company's pay slips.
rahul412 Posted August 26, 2013 Report Posted August 26, 2013 You need to get paid every month on H1. Not getting paid= out of status, to keep you in status you have to file a complaint against that FRAUD employer for not paying you on bench. You will be in trouble if you don't do this.
rohang Posted August 26, 2013 Report Posted August 26, 2013 You are in trouble as of now,but if you can delay your stamping, you might get lucky. Wait till next year (go around March/April), till that time you will have significant number of right payroll cycles under your belt.
omshiv Posted August 26, 2013 Report Posted August 26, 2013 Just file complaint with the DOL against the fraud shady employer...and join a new employer.
