I94 revalidation

Hi -

My passport is expiring on oct-2013.

When i entered USA on Jan-2013, immigration officer gave i94 only till oct-2013

My visa is valid till 2015

Feb-2013, i have got a revised I797 which have an I94 that expires on 2015.

When I checked the CBP for i94.. Expiry date shows OCt 2013.

Do I still have to go out of country for revalidation while i94 on 797 is valid till 2015?

Please advice
