robert86 Posted August 23, 2013 Report Posted August 23, 2013 I have a huge bundle of document. Do they allow bag or binder inside the consulate to the counter??
jairichi Posted August 24, 2013 Report Posted August 24, 2013 If it is India they allow a binder but not a bag
rahul412 Posted August 24, 2013 Report Posted August 24, 2013 Binder should be fine, they won't allow bags.
dele Posted August 25, 2013 Report Posted August 25, 2013 No bags are allowed inside the consulate. I don't know about binders. To be on the safe side, put your documents in a big envelope (like a big brown or white envelope) instead of using a binder. You can separate your documents into groups, hold each group with a piece of paper clip, and then put all of them into a big envelope.
nasunilkumar Posted August 25, 2013 Report Posted August 25, 2013 They will allow Binder inside as long as they have any all unsealed envelopes.

Avoid bags, on your appointment letter it clearly states that no bags allowed, why take chances, use a plastic organizer and carry that along. Here is what I took: https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B9DQiE1bUl1hVXFsYUFtS3ktNWs/edit?usp=sharing
